Description

The Bilstein 4600 Series Shock Absorber Conversion Kit (Part Number: 46-274922) is designed to replace the original equipment Nivomat load leveling shocks on select GM trucks and SUVs, including the Cadillac Escalade ESV and EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche 1500, and GMC Yukon XL 1500 models from 2000 to 2006. This kit effectively removes the rear Nivomat dampers, which reduces the rear spring rate, and restores the factory ride height for a balanced and comfortable driving experience. It includes two springs optimized for stock height vehicles, along with two B6 4600 monotube shock absorbers that deliver improved handling, ride quality, and comfort. The shocks feature a unique, velocity-sensitive, digressive piston that adapts dynamically to road conditions, ensuring consistent performance across various terrains and driving situations.
