ICON’s unique internal “Bump Zone,” created by a CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum manifold located just below the top cap, increases damping force by 20%, effectively preventing harsh bottoming out and providing superior control when the suspension compresses rapidly. For added tuning flexibility, these shocks can be upgraded with ICON’s optional Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV), allowing users to fine-tune damping characteristics to match specific driving conditions.
