The ICON Omega Series 2.5 Remote Reservoir Bypass Shocks are engineered to deliver exceptional off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride for your Toyota FJ Cruiser, 4Runner, GX470, or GX460. Designed specifically for models with 1-3 inch lift, these shocks feature a vehicle-specific configuration that enhances handling and comfort. Built with high-quality CNC machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, the shocks are lightweight yet durable, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding conditions. The impact extruded aluminum cylinders provide excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish, making them ideal for both trail adventures and daily driving.
The Omega Series shocks incorporate ICON’s innovative Bypass Valve technology, allowing precise adjustment of compression and rebound damping with 28 detented settings, all accessible via hand-adjustable bypass valves that require no tools. This high-resolution control enables fine-tuning of ride characteristics to match your driving style or terrain. The internal “Bump Zone,” created by a billet aluminum manifold, significantly increases damping force during high-velocity compression, helping prevent harsh bottom outs and enhancing overall control.
The remote reservoir design improves heat dissipation, reducing shock fade during extended off-road sessions, while the PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific hardware ensure reliable, smooth operation. The shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable, offering the flexibility to customize or service your suspension over time. With replaceable bypass tubes, these shocks provide a resilient solution for aggressive off-road use. Please note that these shocks are not compatible with vehicles equipped with factory rear air suspension, which requires a rear coil conversion.
