Mishimoto has provided substantial support in the cooling department intended for Audi and VW’s MQB platform in the form of an MK7 Performance Aluminum Radiator and an MK7 Performance Intercooler. This platform of vehicles combines a potent turbocharged 4-cylinder, modern styling, and a surprisingly effective chassis to produce a vehicle that portrays the legendary spirit of the hot hatch. To continue providing products for our customers, Mishimoto has developed a silicone intake coolant re-route hose kit. Although a small component, this hose upgrade makes a significant difference in engine bay aesthetics for vehicles featuring an aftermarket intake system such as the Mishimoto MQB Performance Air Intake. -- Our silicone re-route hose is constructed from five layers of silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers. This material is superior to the factory rubber counterpart and will provide years of service without degrading. Mishimoto engineers have integrated a factory-style internal check valve to ensure coolant returns to the reservoir properly.
