The Turbosmart WG45 Gen V Hyper-Gate 45 Motorsport wastegate is engineered for extreme performance in demanding motorsport environments. Featuring a high-performance CFD-designed heatsink positioned between the wastegate body and actuator, this unit ensures optimal thermal management by utilizing convection and physical shielding to prevent heat transfer. This design promotes longer component life and reliable operation under high-stress conditions. The wastegate incorporates a ceramic isolator between the body and actuator, further minimizing heat transfer for enhanced durability and consistent performance. With a rotatable actuator housing, you gain versatile installation options, and the optional position sensor allows for precise monitoring of wastegate operation. Constructed with a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body and Nitronic 60 valve guide, the wastegate is capable of handling demanding conditions with ease. The inclusion of 17-7 PH stainless steel springs ensures fatigue resistance, while the strap-type V-band clamps with 45mm fitment facilitate secure attachment and ease of installation. The CFD-driven heatsink design, combined with convection cooling and shielding, significantly reduces heat reaching critical components, making this wastegate suitable for endurance racing and other high-performance applications. For added cooling efficiency, optional liquid actuator cooling can be employed.
