The Turbosmart WG60 GenV PowerGate 60mm external wastegate is engineered for high-performance boost control in demanding applications such as CO2 drag racing and compressed air systems. Featuring a 60mm V-band fitment and an inverted diaphragm design, this wastegate excels in managing large pressure differentials and high-pressure environments, ensuring precise regulation of boost pressure. The robust construction includes a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body and a Nitronic 60 valve guide, providing outstanding thermal and fatigue resistance for long-term reliability.
Its rotatable, clockable actuator housing offers flexible installation options, while optional position sensors enhance control capabilities. The wastegate is equipped with base spring options of 3 and 5 PSI, allowing customization based on your specific boost requirements. Additionally, liquid actuator cooling is available as an option for even better thermal management in extreme conditions. The use of 17-7 PH stainless steel springs ensures high durability and consistent performance under high cycle fatigue.
This product is designed with class-leading CFD and bench-validated flow performance, making it suitable for large bandwidth operation where active biasing of the top chamber with increased pressure is essential.
