The Wilwood D154 Front Caliper Kit is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for factory cast iron “Metric” calipers found on a wide range of mid-size GM cars and small trucks from 1978 through 2002. This high-performance caliper features forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons, and competition-grade high-temperature seals, ensuring durability and resistance to rust, bore pitting, and seal failures common in original equipment calipers. Ideal for street and track applications, the D154 calipers offer significant weight savings and reliable high-temperature performance, reducing maintenance needs over time. They mount in the stock location over OEM rotors and use the original style OE D154 brake pads along with an OE M10-1.5 banjo bolt brake line mounting, facilitating simple installation and compatibility with most wheels that clear the OE calipers.
